  1. I always thought the enforcers were better done than the 'criminals', but as a whole the lore always felt halfway done- and never returned to or expanded upon.

I just wish they made the characters sound less like comic book villains and focused on fleshing out more the motivations and goals of the factions ina way that doesn't make them look like jesters.

I feel like that's kind of what they were going for but they missed the mark; comic booky surface level to not make it feel too serious. But then everything feels uninteresting and most people ignore the lore entirely

  2. Not perfect of course, but still a very promising beginning for Apb's future, *overall* more stability, but there are the few cases of more issues... as long as it continuing to be improved upon I'm very hopeful, I just hope the pop increase stays around for awhile 👀

(the baked lighting and Joker audio looping are known bugs that will be fixed soon I'm sure, even though I think Asylum looks kinda cool with the weird stripes)

  3. I suppose this post got buried but I'll add a reply since it's resurfaced, one reason Asylum is more popular is most likely because it's easier to obtain JT, the Baylan challenges are just not fun and time consuming meanwhile all you have to do is play a few rounds to get 200 JT a week from Asylum.

I've heard the Sniper SBSR is the better of the two because you are right, it's basically a straight upgrade over the rifle one- but both are very underwhelming

It would be bad though it'd prob be some cheap asset flipped unity game

One thing people take for granted about Apb when whey say 'just make another' is that APB is an attempt at a AAA game that simply flopped. You can tell money and effort was put into it, any sort of attempt to remake Apb where it stands up to the same quality (but modernized to compete with contemporary games of course) would be just as risky of a monetary endeavor just as the original game was, and we all know how that turned out. Although; with Fotrnite and other games making microtransactions an accepted part of online games, so the Reloaded strat seems like it would fit in very well in the current climate. Also, one thing Apb has going for it with a potential comeback is that people know of it- no matter how small the community is. 'Hey Apb is finally on 64-bit and they're actually adding content' if another company tried to make a game like Apb they couldn't bank on simply stealing every one of Apb's potential players, it wouldn't be a viable strategy for a successful game- because let's face it a pet project with no money behind it would end up exactly how you described *cough* Phoenix wasn't even completed *cough*

sorry for the ramble but what else is there to do here?)
