I've been a Kevlar main for my entire playtime on APB, it's kinda punishing by how slow, you move, but it's pretty good if you play using covers and corners, and move using a car. In my own experience Kevlar works better if you play in a group with friends.

Real Times did the same with APB and G1 took over.

Be thankfull there's no headshots in this game, you'd die twice as fast.

Something I've wanted for years is having weapon mods being visible. Having a bigger magazine if you use Extended Magazine 3. A scope while using hunting sigh 3, etc. Would be amazing to see your weapon change a big when using different mods. Expanding gameplay vertically would be cool too, adding some offide building where you can go inside and do missions there, get to the rooftops. Have new districts, or expand the current ones with outside areas of the cities, with more mountain areas, making some vehicles better to drive in dirt.

Changing name but not the product would only make it look more lazy.

APB with AI enemies would feel so much fresher, it could even have lore, citizens tired of Criminals and Enforcers fighting for years, decide to "do it themselves" and start taking actions agaisnt both groups. modifying the city with barricades and turning it into a warzone, no more civillians taking walks like nothing happening. More destroyed enviroment. Hell, the game could take a 180º turn and add a story mode in 4 group co-op.

Why not just close the game then, if you don't let new players to join, why the hell keep it open.

First you need player population.

LO doesn't own APB IP anymore.

G1 didn't, and LO is not different.

How do you know who's cheating tho? Because they kill you?

At this point and with how low the population is, doing this would just kill the game entirely, how many you think from the 300 players who remain playing would pay a monthly subscription in order to play?

Not everyone who is better than you is cheating.

After the new engine is done, they'll add more content to the game, that's what they've been saying since 2012.

255 Gold, been for years I don't mind people sh*tting on players who don't use what they consider pro. Games get pretty boring when 90% players use the same stuff.

I got the Killer Bee too, but it has less ammo and less vehicle damage, it's better agaisnt people, so I tend to use it when enemies are good and I need to land the hits fast haha. I tend to change to True Ogre if corner CASE doesnt work. Gotta say that I tend to use Kevlar 3 for more Health, playing heavy style. But yeah, this support role works the best when playing with friends.
