  1. As a very old friend i've whitnessed all ths steps from a rough drawing, started many years ago to point where u are at now.

I can back him up on the hundreds, if not more, of hours he has put into all this.
The fact this project has reached hights that even MattScott's impressed it means this is very impressive and deffinately deserves a chance in this game.

    Great job Ellix.

  2. People are offended by everything lately. Even on a Rated mature online game.

There always has to be a reason to complain or whine about something because our opinion has to be the most important one, and should be shared and followed by the whole world.

    Here we go again~
Just because they appear to be gold, doesn't mean they are really gold. I am ready for this post to be disliked so I will say it again, for the n-th time, there are no golds in bronze districts. Like 99% of "golds" you see there are just silvers at best, people stuck in a limbo between silver and gold, too good for bronze, too bad for the silver district. As Ketog has stated, they join as silvers and thanks to high scores, the silly threat system assigns them with the gold threat. Yes, some of them could be playing in silver districts, although not quite well, hence they chose not to.

Truth is, with thousands of hours in the game, game knowledge, R195 modifications and slotted weapons they surely have an advantage, but they lack the aim and tracking skills which gives you a good chance of beating them, just do not despair.

That doesn't change the fact it's not fun for a new player to become opposed against somebody who has the skill to crush him.

Yet, i believe you have forgotten the people who intentionally dethreat even tho they can pretty much stand their ground in gold/silver districts just to farm quicker and easier roles (Cop surely being one of them). (Yes before you quote me on this, these kind of people are very few, but it still occurs)

Everybody knows the matchmaking system is not good, the skill difference in a single threat can be huge (especially in gold). An elo system matchmaking could solve that, then again i believe the playerbase not being big enough to divide the population in such a way.

tl:dr in any case there will be advantages and disadvantages, it's up to LO to decide what seems best for the game.

  4. Yes, of course we have to right to know.

Because those cheaters didn't use that list to gain notority by getting 10 of their accounts banned a day to have in the end have a list full of "name1" "name2" "name3" name4" ect ect ect.

What was supposed to hold down cheating with fear of being exposed publicly ended up in a cheating contest about who could get the most amount of accounts on that list.

    So thanks, but no thanks.

  5. This thread shouldn't be named this way .... it will only end up in a group of people who like said person's content against a group of people who don't...

This ain't going to advance in any way in what OP wants to achieve with this thread.

I'd suggest removing and remaking this thread without naming anyone

The poll's question is about kicking those that are loitering action districts:

    1. What exactly defines loitering?
      Racing?
Smashing stores and stealing from pedestrians?
      Hunting bounties?
Working towards daily Joker ticket objectives that require you to deliver cars or run over a high amount of pedestrians?
      RPing?
    2. How will the game be able to detect them automatically?
    3. What guarantees, even if such a mechanism is built in the game, that the space that will be made to the district by kicking them, will be filled by people that will be entered in the next mission with them?

this will put a complete end to every form of gameplay outside of missions, including ram raiding, mugging, delivering cars (note that's an achievement) and all of that, even in empty districts.... unfortunately

As some of you said " i don't know why its a problem now when it wasn't a few years ago "  We just aren't in the same timeframe and need to realize that. Since we aren't probably having the same luxury with our population. You might not see it now but it might be inevitable & then what will it be.. what will we do..?

People who loiter and don't do missions are for the most part people who don't want to play missions and won't play missions for X reason.

So, if you have them in the district, goofing around and have fun, show to the community this game can still be fun, because as we all know, it hasn't the best of reputation, in fact it's reputation is pretty garbage on every game quoting website.

See it this way, they loiter and have fun, show a good image, or they just won't play the game at all ... in one way or another it won't change the time needed to find opposition.

Those "loiters" are so few they don't even fill up a district, especially on NA. It just doesn't change a thing at all.

Let the people that want to have fun, have fun! weather it is by playing mission, or by loitering around.

  8. I'm baffled by some of the replies.

All the OP wanted to know if this was concidered griefing or not. And it is, even tho it can indeed easily be countered, it's still an obstruction that causes people to deviate their track and thus lose (eventual) valuable time.

If people want to have such kind of fun, or try things out there is a whole selection of empty districts these days where this can be done.

  9. I would have preferred a lock based on account age other than rank.

Rating does not reflect experience, account age somehow does (except for rerollers).

As for the teamkilling issue ... remove it in Fight Club.

Personally I have a R9 without any intent of raising it's rating, which was a personal challenge to complete all roles with it, and obviously relied a lot on Fight Club.

Start by acknowledging the obvious.  you can try to find cheater but you have no way of guaranteeing there are none.

But back to it,  I've seen a few snap,  and I've had 2 members admit it that they cheat.
To be honest, no clan is safe from ever recruiting a cheater. You can have a very ellaborated trial program, still there is a chance of someone to slip through.

Yet, WASP's trial program has been one of the most soffisticated one's i've seen out there and they keep monitoring their members, no matter what their rank is in the clan, if one happens to have slipped through and it's noticed he's quickly dealt with.

I have a hard time to believe you N66. and even if your story is true, take proof screenshots and/or videos and contact one of their staff members.

To me WASP has always been part of that very narrow group of respected clans on APB.

@OP I wish you good luck on recruiting, tho you didn't need to make a clear point towards a certain clan. You could have promoted insecticide by many others ways than attacking directly towards another clan.
