    The whole "64-bit" theory is just lol. You have 64bit cpu and windows 7/10 64bit and you are able to run 32 bit software... LO better finally look into this and say something because. If you guys wait for the engine update  so this problem disappear, you are going to have a bad time - it's not coming any time soon.

    that's not how it works.


    the blame was also not on nvidia per sé but the old outdated engine.


    there also is quite an amount of emulation required to run 32bit software on 64bit hardware - you might have seen WOW64 on your pc.

    if nvidia doesn't do as good of a job of emulating as microsoft (which also dont do perfect emulation, not every software runs) e.g. because certain feature/instructions are seen as deprecated - well, this might lead to crashes.

    it's not very far-fetched to think that new drivers - especially for whole new architectures - could lead to crashes. and definitely not unheard of. 

    e.g. pubg, also a mess of a game, would run much better on certain driver versions but straight up crash on some newer ones.

    i do think we have a good array of mods - except that the lower levels are basically unutilized.


    the game has other issues though. and you can't tell me imbalance in mods are remotely responsible for the dropping player count.

    in all seriousness, if you don't get leadership when you request it, you wouldn't also get enough votes to kick said person.

    but yes, the current system can so easily be abused e.g. by people damaging you just enough to not be able to be kicked. this just means there has to be additional demerits, e.g. for team damage. (possibly still not reflected in score and not leading to auto kicks, because unless those get disabled for premade groups, they are just a nuisance - like the 5 teamkills/5 minutes limit right now - if you're just having fun with your friends.)

    Over 99% of all Players in APB uses CA3, why there is no balance patch, like +10% take extra damage for an compensation.

    1. Input lag really depends on how bad it is. Is it the usual additional 4-5ms or like an extra 50ms?
    2. Audio bugs can really annoy anyone - even more so visual ones. But that always depends on the extent of these bugs.
    3. How often do the door issues occur? Probably often enough if it was encountered during playtesting.  Will really mess with gameplay, especially if the door state is different for everyone in the same mission. Should probably be fixed asap - this is worse than LoD fade ins.
    4. Eh - just as always, it depends how bad it is, lol. Is there still the additional MM-sensitivity slider?
    5. The dimensions would also be interesting here. How much of a performance hit are we talking? People were looking forward to EU for performance upgrades - I do think this can wait till beta though.
    6. Rebooting... the whole PC? This... sounds pretty bad.


    Issues 3. and 6. should probably be fixed before you push an unenjoyable product that makes your whole PC stutter into Beta. Same goes for issue 2. if those bugs are severe.


    More issues coming with more players is also what I'd see happening - but that's just all the more reason to fix these issues first before gettings swamped in even more (that will probably not be fixed along the way of those new issues)


    I know it'd be just a Beta but you'd inevitable get bad press/complaints on forums if the beta is bad. People don't really distinguish between Beta, Early Access and Launch anymore because it has been used as a "free qc", demo (e.g. destiny 2s beta was just that) or marketing thing in the past by publishers - many just expect a polished product there already and not too many changes going into release.


    I'd say... call it an Alpha if you will - there might be less expectations and more understanding for issues.

    i, too, use an rtx 2080 ti - two in fact - and have these issues but i'm not brainlessly complaining.

    he announced beta tests for early 2020 and they couldn't keep that deadline and guess how the people on forum reacted?

    and probably are the ones to complain the most when it doesn't work out because it's so hard to estimate

    or whine about bugs when they push out an unfinished product because people were complaining


    sorry to break the news to you but 20-series users are a minority - especially in an old f2p game - and the fix is just not that easy.
