I don't even know why NA server still exist. They should have merged it with EU long ago instead of removing threats.

Ofc it will be detecting it as cheats. It can be very exploitative in the right hands. It would be surprising if it doesn't detects it considering even the most basic anti cheats does that.

Did you buy the account from the guy who hacked you? If they can't confirm that is you, it is probably due the IP and email used for creating the account. The other possibility is that you have been downloading cheats and got keylogger. What kind of hacker would even care about an obscure game like APB?

You have to be in the top half of the scoreboard for most of the time to climb. Ending up with 0 kills however doesn't affect threat even if you are at the bottom.

It is really just a noob stomper mod that trivializes the whole game. Idk who thought it was a good idea. At least back then the explosives were only rentals.

The problem with this game is that it never changes outside of things getting removed. if I login now, the game will be the same as it was 9 years ago... just with less players.

You are missing the point entirely. he is complaining about the matchmaking being bad not the players.

lmao such change will benefit the golds even more because they are usually always in stack and the other team will just have no clue what they are against.

Probably. At least it is not like the engine update where the game ran worse even with barely any people on the server.

After playing for some time, the performance seems to be identical to how it was before. For some reason it was better on the test server. maybe I should try fresh install. at least it is not worse. Nice to see 100 people districts again. Also I am getting some weird bug where I can't see any objective markers and teammates until I die.

Yup. groups ruin this game. If there were more players and bigger team sizes it wouldn't matter but now it is guaranteed to have at least 2 golds vs a silver and a bronze.

It is not the name but the substance that needs changing. Fix the game, add bunch of good new content and advertise the heck out of it.

Some quick first impression since didn't have time to play much: The game seems to run slightly better and maybe load faster which I really didn't expect. However, i get something like consistent frame skipping when moving the camera around (as if the game holds on a frame for longer than it should and then skips ahead. Similar to playing a streamed game on a weak connection) which is not present on live. I also get this file blocked by battleye which is also not happening on live: [INFO] Blocked loading of file: "C:\Program Files\Avira\Endpoint Protection SDK\amsi\x64\avamsi.dll"

That is exactly the problem. Instead of chasing unachievable things, they should have kept updating the game with actual content (or do it in parallel ) And now with only less than 200 people online, the game is as good as dead.

The roadmap for 2023 is the cancelation of the 64 bit update :^)

People don't need new accounts to cheat. Not allowing new accounts is like locking the door, eating the key and starving yourself to death.

Try restarting the PC. Sometimes is enough to do just that. If not, some program may be interfering.

Well, you are not playing much if all you get is no opposition matches. The other option is to at least give minimal reward for completing non opposed missions to encourage staying to the end (which to be given only at certain server population to prevent farming on empty servers)

I would be enough if the matchmaking was actually dong its job and doesn't always stack golds vs all other threats. I don't get why starting a mission without opposition is even still a thing. How hard it is to make it start only when there are enough people in both teams? And speaking of teams, 3v3 should be the minimum team size to even have a proper match. Fix that and the population may get above 200 people.
