    If single explosion doesnt solve problem, multiple will. 
    This game has OPGL for the exact reason, destroy people who are using area for their advantage. If someone blindly goes over and over and over and over again, its kinda...well..person own mistake.
    Same goes to people who just could not comprehend idea of changing weapons to suit situation on hand.


  2. Im gonna reveal a huge secret, shh...
    As enf main i can confirm that people use Non-Leather weapons with only one reason...a way to detheat and avoid bans for it. THATS IT.  Try to play with stabba, 7 of 10 of the times you will get immediate DM about " Stop trolling, take a real weapon ".

    I cant stress enough telling people to keep track what LO says on streams, after the engine update they gonna rework threat-district stuff and planning to remove rank requirements for mods.
    But until engine update is out everything is on HOLD.


  4. As much as I hate people who run with an item ( when you need to deliver it and hold it on the base, not just hold it anywhere ), I didn`t have too much of a problem with them, just an annoyance. 
    But let me guess...buying and switching to Alig/osmow and car surfer mod is too hard? Dunno...
     


  5. The only way I see something like this to work is a separate tool client for creating models, textures and etc. 
    I mean doing something new in it to submit on a community vote or directly to devs to decide, Basically something like Valve with CS:GO or Warframe devs were choosing fan made  skins in their workshop to add later into the game.
    We could have something like that, would be a win - win, since it gives LO free labor XD

    P.S. Anyway waterfront needs huge rework. I feel like people play there only to level up contacts, well at least everyone that i know after they were done, they never came back to it XD

    You do realize that majority of people who do suggestions are actually know that engine update comes first and only then their suggestions should take place?
    When game starts to utilize current hardware, stuff like above would not be a problem..if you are not playing on a toaster that is.


  10. Well, new players can focus on earning JTs to get perm weapons, even ones from armras. So yeah, but considering trading. Well, you probably missed the moment when they removed ability to gift stuff in armras. You know why? 
    Lets say I gifted you a pack with clothes, weapons and etc and then refunded it. They have to return the money, but they cant " take away " a gift from your account. Blame how it was coded back in the day I guess.
    Soo if we could trade guns from armras, people would buy a gun, give it away so it would change few hands and refund. Or simply buy guns, throw it for cheap, it gets bought in minutes or even seconds, refund.

    As promised,  i`m going to talk about cars, ( Took me a while to defeat my laziness to write this. ) 

    I remember from Q&A there were talking about new car in the works, so one thing came to my mind, well more like a problem. Right now we have around 22 available for purchase cars ingame, with only 5 are used by people on average basis.

    Even in past cars that were not in " top tiers " came absolute rather...quick. There is not point for veterans to buy them, nor there is any reason for a newbie either.  Since its rather easy to buy better options from marketplace or ask for a clan design car if you are part of more or less " set up clan ". 
    So, when amount of cars will increase even more, previous stuff becomes even useless. Speaking of which...whos even gonna buy kits for them in armas?

    Here is a tier list of cars of " worth " currently. ( In my opinion )
    S tier - Patriot Vegas( Including 4x4 ), Patriot V20 Jericho, Bishada Rapier, IO Growl S2. ( Speed, its all about getting from point A to point B )
    A tier - Nulander Pioneer, Seiyo Espacio ( Can be made into tanks )
    B tier - Packer Vaquero ( Solely for 4x4 and size combo that helps to get in weird places in order to utilize spawn and in past radar mods )
    C tier - Charge Mikro, Packer Ceresco, Charge Cisco, Han Veo, Sungnyemun Moirai. ( They are one tier up then cars below solely because newbies tend to buy it. )
    D tier - Nulander Kurai, Patriot T-25, Dolton Broadwing, ( Can be somewhat useful for newbies, but rarely picked anyway. )

    F tier - Balkan Ravan, Balkan Varzuga, Macchina Calabria 127, Charge Sentinel, Dolton Fresno, Dolton Montane ( Basically there is zero reason to buy this cars even for new player. )
     


    Idea/Suggestion

     

     

     

    To give actual " worth " for cars below tier S and A is implementing " upgrade " mechanic. And here we have 2 routes.

    Route A - Think of old race games like NFS Underground or recent GTA 5. While you could buy direct upgrades to suspension, transmission, engine and etc. Im not sure how realistic this would be in terms of engine architecture in APB and synergy to " mod " system. Well, i decide to write about this anyway, just in case.
    Also, you would probably say " Wait, if we can for example increase engine power for +20, it means " tiers " will not go away, since you can do same stuff with " good " cars and the gap will not go away ", I would say you have a good point, but in my idea you can upgrade only " bad " cars. At least for now.


    Route B - Its a bit more weird. Lets make an example, Vegas and Vegas 4x4. So my idea would be a similar system, like you take a car and bring it to NPC who with a fee will upgrade it into new version. Price of conversion would depend on how many slots original car had, basically if it has 1 slot or even 0 you would pay more. So, basically idea is to give said " unpopular or inferior " cars something that they lack to become somewhat viable.


     For example I would take two cars, Han Veo and Nulander Kurai. ( Why? Because they have great armas kits )
    Right now they are basically a trap, if you played more then a day, you would know that buying their kits are waste of g1c and cars themselves are waste of ingame cash too. So, in my idea you bring these cars to a NPC in social car area and exchange your car+cash for an upgraded version, basically we can have a " new " car that uses same models and kits as old one( Hello vegas 4x4 ). So  Nulander Kurai for example could be a bit lowered and given more power, while Han Veo would be also given more competitive speed( not exactly same as for example S tier cars, but in between of A and S tiers, ) and possible a 4x4 as well for better acceleration all around. ( I know that " Coywolf " version of Han Veo should be already " buffed " by lets be honest its same old junk Han Veo and its still useless )

    TL:DR - idea itself it so " revive " out of meta cars and give them ability to be used. You can be rather creative with " upgraded " versions, heck nobody said there could be only 1 version for each car, it could be multiple. Plus side of profits, its easier to do this and sell kits for existing cars, even add more in future for them, then develop a whole new one.

    As bonus, it would be nice to see racing modes as well. ( Specially if you make more cars viable )
    Could be under of " Joker " brand as well to reword small portions of JTs, for those people who despise FCs ( Or specially Baylan...). In years of playing I saw multiple times people trying to orgonize races in freeroam or doing challanges for drift, drag,, 
    So why not make it official? Plus extra reason to " showoff " your cars there...basically extra motivation to have a " fancy " kit, *wink*.


  12. 1. All their resources are go on engine update, they not gonna do anything major before it releases. And they had some ideas said on Q&A stream, so yeah. Until engine is not out, hardly you will see any changes in threat/district system.

    2. Not enough players to actually " force " people into their own districts. You would know that if you looked avarage amount of people online, you can check it when selecting districts manually.

    3. Current ranked system doesn`t distinguish low tier gold vs top tier gold. If you played League of Legends, then you would know their ranked system and you would know that Gold 5 is not same skill bracket as Platinum 1, Diamond 1. 
    So we have here " fake gold " players, who go to silver district play against " high tier " gold and have a huge lose streak, lose gold and go to bronze. And guess what, after few missions they are gold again.  Basically players that are too bad to play against gold and too good to play against silvers,bronze. 

    And there is no way for you as a bronze, silver player on bronze district to know who against you. A dethreater who done it on purpose or a " fake " gold player who had 10 loses in a streak on silver district because he could not win against anyone and went to your district.
    But why Im even bothering to explain this stuff... * shrug *

    And to come back on the social district, in my eyes the current social district has to dissapear. 

    its needs to be simpler, a meeting ground for all players, than a corner for clothes, a corner for cars and a corner for whatever else haha.  also a shooting range wouldnt be too bad, where u can trial guns without having to buy them.

    on the clan district i mentioned, i wouldnt make it so u could edit alot their, only clan stuff, if u want to edit a car or something else u go to the social. it is not suposed to become the new hangout area haha. 

    It totally would be a mess, dedicated clan warzone map is the safest choice. 

    Well, social district is not bad, just needs to be filled more. TBH clan " house " would be what you after. A dedicated place for clans to customize and hang out ( each clan his own house, obviously not " free " and you need to spend cash ) like warframe has clan stations that you create for example.
    But again, APB doesnt have crafting soo i have no idea what to put in there, dont want it to be empty, thats why i did not put it into suggestions.

    For example, division 2 suffers heavily from this with their clan system. It is almost exactly what you proposed.     Leveling up clan should scale depending on how many players the clan has: 

    Level 1 xp would shift between 1000-1000xp depending on if you have 10 people or 100 people.


    I don`t see a problem with it tbh. 
    First of all if a clan has fewer people and wants to level up faster obviously choice is recruit more. The idea of giving stuff to people on silver plate is kinda lame. Second of all I stated in topic that clan tiers should not give any combat advantage what so ever. 
    So i do not see why " lower " clans will have a " bad time ".
    *shrug*

    I mean its obvious  that 30 people will grind something faster then 5 people. ( I mean if all players are active ).  Plus again, regular missions in my idea should give pathetically low amount of exp, its NOT a main source of leveling the clan.
    As i stated above the " main " reason is clan warzone, where you can enter( you need to register your team, thought it was obvious enough ) beforehand. 
    Like I said think about it in a same way MMORPGs do it with castle sieges. 
    You take a group and register, zone is open only on particular days of a week( preferable weekends, so more people would chance to do it ). And it doesnt matter if clan is 10 people, 100 people or 10000 people, you can only register a SINGLE group from a clan. ( Thats why it was under the " Ranked " title )
    Thats the main way of getting clan exp, while results depend only on personal skills of group you send.

    Its like comparing killing mobs or doing a quest. Trying to level up with grinding mobs for 10 exp each or doing a quest for 1000 exp. Hope now my messed up brain explained it better XD
