Does anyone how to overclock and i7-6700hq from 2.6 ghz to 3.0ghz?Its laptop cpu

Pretty simple. Just don't. Leave it as it is or you'll most likely run into some serious overheating. Overclocking from 2.6 to 3.0Ghz on a Laptop CPU won't change the world anyway.

Oh ok i understand,just wanted to boost it up a little, i should be able to clock the fans too but i believe you are right there is no need for more unecessary ussage

Gaming on laptop is not the best idea, but overclocking mobile cpu is pretty close to madness. With higher frequency comes heat increase, which is a bad thing. I honestly thought that mobile chips are locked...

considering how irreplaceable an laptop cpu is, you'd be better off buying a new laptop/pc instead

You might be able to lock it to a higher turbo frequency, but this depends entirely on the laptop brand/model.

Replacing a laptop CPU is not that bad. The GPU though is a really big deal. Laptops don't deal with great week though so it is a bad idea.
