I'm looking to start livestreaming due to the amount of hackusations i've been getting lately; I was looking on twitch last night and it basically gave me 3 options of software I could use to stream on their website, those being XSplit, Wirecast, or Flash Media Encoder.

I'd like free software that's able to stream my gameplay in HD. If anyone could walk me through the process, that would be appreciated. If this is posted in the wrong section, please move for me. Thx

Can you PM me on how to set it up? I just downloaded it and I can't seem to be able to stream it to twitch, put in my key and everything.

Got livestreaming, obsproject isn't picking up APB when I stream it, just a black screen, however it shows my desktop when I go to it.

run as admin > 32 bit OBS > game capture (not software capture)

it works if you click "preview", alt tab ingame, then alt tab out with the screen region showing APB

also try launching apb, removing all sources, then adding game capture (apbprogram will show up)

Ea's origin is free and simple to use,you can add non-Ea games to origin and stream them directly to your twitch account by just pressing a button on the origin-overlay.I haven't tried streaming apb yet but i guess it works like all other non EA-games.

I'm curious: What does this do better than xsplit, and how?

Just wondering if I should try switching over, or if its benefits would go largely unnoticed by me :o

offers everything xsplit offers to paying customers; for free

it also takes up less resources, I'm able to stream (up to) a 15000 bitrate (i stream at 3000 bitrate however) with 45 fps and 1600 x 900 res with no lag mouse compared to xplit; which can only go up to 3000 bitrate with 30 fps before lag mouse kicks in at 1280 x 720 res.

and I don't need to use dxtory anymore due to game capture source that's available in OBS.

Sounds fancy.

Thanks, I guess I'll take another look after all :o
