How can i sart the game? i can't agree the eula

when i login the client , it says you must scroll to the bottom and agree or decine the eula. but i can't scroll, i can't find anywhere to agree the eula or start the game.

i'm sure by now it doesn't matter where it belongs.
it's a problem that has been addressed numerous times and no one has helped any of us yet.

search the forums for a workaround.
it has something to do with moving a .ini file into the FE folder on your computer/Mac.

Edit settings.cfg in the feupdater dir in notepad :

AUTORUNGAMEAFTERUPDATE=FALSE
CHECKUNUSEDFILES=TRUE
AUTOREMOVEUNUSEDFILES=FALSE
REMEMBERPOSITION=FALSE
DISABLETOOLTIPS=FALSE
DONOTDISPLAYEULA=TRUE
DONOTDISPLAYCODEOFCONTACT=TRUE
DISABLEMUSIC=TRUE

Where did you download the game from? It is very important we find this out if you're experiencing this issue with the EULA / CoC.

Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons for thou art crunchy and go well with ketchup!

I had that problem when downloading from

http://www.gamersfir...rth/?q=download
Then click "Direct Download"
Then click "Download the full Fallen Earth Client"
http://setup.gamersf...th_20111012.zip

And installing on windows 7 (not sure if that is related)

I had this issue a little bit back. The only way around it I found was modifying the settings.ini.

No idea what the 'real' fix is but that worked for me and allowed me to play when I don't use the steam client to start it.

While my eyes quickly slipped past bold text others might have done that too so to emphasize :

DONOTDISPLAYEULA=TRUE
DONOTDISPLAYCODEOFCONTACT=TRUE

And that works 100%

I tried this and noticed it doesn't save when normal save button is pressed but pressing that 'X' button in the corner then clicking 'save changes' seems to work. I'll post a link to this topic in the Tech Support area.

Please if you have this issue let us know where you downloaded the Fallen Earth client from so we can get this fixed.

I am having the same problem, except i do not see the eula at all,unless i change the setting.ini file,and even then it just allows me to see the eula, but after i click 'agree' it simply goes white again.even that was hard as it seems i am not allowed to change the file admin user on computer cannot change it..seems the whole folder has special permissions

anyway point is i cannot install client on another computer as i cannot agree to EULA

and tiggs, downloaded it from gamers first website using their installer
No matter where you go.... there you are

Though this topic is old, I had the same problem.

 

This is how I solved it:

 

1. I tryied the above listed recommandations, but they did not work.

 

2. So I tried to sign in via my smartphone. Then it worked. I could except the Eula and everything went well!

 

In my opinion the problem is, that your computer just cannot get the right connection to the page of the eula.

As far as I can see, various users from different countries had this problem, so it might not be a local  provider issue (?).

Maybe a windows 8.1. related problem?

 

In fact try to sign in via a different medium (smartphone, Pc).

I have tried the solution listed above and I can't seem to save the file because it says something is running and everything is closed. any suggestions?
