So the problem is this, last night I bought a couple of items from the marketplace with rewards points, picked them up from the mailbox, but then it wouldn't let me use them. So I figured a client restart was in order, so I closed the game, started the launcher again, signed in, checked for updates, hit launch, black screen for a few seconds, and then I hit this screen: http://imgur.com/dC6lE

Oh, no big deal, I'll just enter in my password again and be back in the game. No good, it shoots me back to that screen again.
I'll restart the client again, oops, here I am back at this screen.
Hmmm maybe I need to defrag the games files....nope that didnt work, same screen.
Okay then, this calls for extreme measures, I'll just reinstall the game.
4 hours later... oh lookey here I'm back at the same freaking screen after being bombarded with steam messages from clan members for the past 4 hours asking why I wasn't on.
I'm out of ideas, so I come humbly to you FE forums. Any ideas?

Yeah, same thing just happened to me. 8:08 CST. Was in the middle of Junk Fortress one minute then charcter select screen the next. I clicked 'Play', the button greyed out, and nothing. Tried to log back in and I get the old screen like you had. I think I'll be waiting a few weeks longer before I actually get a subscription. I know they're having problems dealing with the influx of Steam players, but I'm crashing at least once a session, assuming I can get logged in to start with.
I guess since the Devs aren't posting anything it's just another random crash.

Yeah, like you I was looking to subscribe but no point in doing it if I can't get into the actual game. Hopefully its just the influx of new players, but has been over 24 hours since I was last able to log in without getting stuck on that screen. The devs really need to pay attention to this bug if its not just something that only I am having problems with, its preventing some people from playing the game at all. I'll keep starting it up every couple of hours just to see if it works because that's how much I love this game, but thats making me depressed because I have to give up and play something else. I'm not just throwing out that subbing note either, if I can get this fixed I fully intend to go commander, I've been playing this game since 2009, so I have no problems with putting more money into it. Provided I can actually play it. Hopefully, worst case scenario, its just the overload of new players causing this and it will go away. Its frustrating as hell when you're the leader of a clan and they expect you to be on.

I had my friend talk to a GM in game about my problem, I was told to change my pasword then try running it without steam. It didn't work for me and now my friend is having the same problem, but maybe it will work for you cmlonewolf.

bumping because its been well over a week and I'm still having this problem.
Even tried installing it on a new machine with a fresh install of windows, so no steam installed on the computer anywhere, changed my password just to be safe, and I still can't log in.
This is definitely a bug with my account but I can't contact support unless I buy something (even though I already bought the dang game) and I don't want to buy something when I can't play the game.
Hopefully I can get this figured out by the end of the week and if not, I'll just blow the money I was going to spend on commander on Deadly Premonition and Back to Karkand.

It's not just your account. I'm having the same problem and getting the same different logging screen, which only allows you to log out...not in. A friend of mine had the same issue last week.

I've contacted support and I suggest you send an email to support also.

This was happening to me last month for about 3 weeks. They could fix it for me, but it was happening each week directly after they'd shut down for maintentance. Each week they'd fix it, and then it would happen again the following week.

It finally was fixed around the time we had the influx from Steam and I had hoped it wouldn't happen again. The problem is back as of today. Contact them through customer support and I'm sure they'll fix it for you.

I've went through support tickets and cleared up the ones that reported this. For those of you in this thread that haven't tried contacting support yet. Please try this:

Login to your account on Gamersfirst
Change your password to 7 letters or numbers (no special characters)
Now try logging into Fallen Earth (without steam auth) using your gamersfirst email address
Enter in your new password

If you receive the old login screen, enter in your new password to log your account out.

Now close out the launcher and try to launch the game. If you're brought to the old launcher screen (you shouldn't get this but in case you do) use the new password again to logout/login. Please try multiple times.

If you're still unable to get into the game then please email support and I will check out what is going on.
