Ok, after a quick test of the Silenced HVR I noticed something.

The crosshair, besides being the smallest crosshair I haven't seen on APB:R ever, doesn't bloom at all if you're strafing while zoomed in.

QUIET! maybe they won't notice

btw no bloom if you jump either, better accuracy than scout on the move

I gotta admit. I actually really liked it. I could sit in the corner inside a building and just drop anyone who got near our objectives without them ever knowing where I was.

The thing is chunky as hell though. Almost as big as my character.

I just redeemed it and only have 25 minutes left of the trial. I thought it was three days?

If im not wrong, the trials are always 3 hours for premium players and half hour for non-premium

And these ones are the 3 days weapons

What I understood is that the HVR silenced will be available for trial only for this weekend. So if you want to use the trial on monday, you wont be able to do it

When they mean three day trial they mean the free weapon trial is redeemable during those three days, aka the weekend. The lease is only 30 minutes.

The silenced HVR seems to need a bit of a nerf. Perhaps have it's accuracy match that of the regular HVR? Because right now the silenced HVR is much, much better while moving around.. which I could see being an issue when the PR2 comes out.

Looks cool. Since they haven't released clothes in awhile I'm guessing they're pushing them out through ingame progression when the new contacts are released, which would be a very good thing.

Loving this update, 3 day rentals are perfect for the people who only play a weekend or two a month and are very affordable, and I've been waiting for the silenced HVR for a LONG time.

Just noticed that the 3-day rentals don't get any discount if you have premium... They're 79 / 99 with or without. Is this intended or a bug?

You've heard wrong. The regular HVR takes 1.75s between shots, this takes 2.0s between shots. I've confirmed this both on live and OTW. The silencer mod doesn't show any stats on it, but the stats are actually baked into the gun. If you'll notice, the Whisper is the same way. Take a look at it's silencer, while it has text describing the differences, the actual modifications it applies are the numbers beneath that, which are all zeros. Compare the Whisper to a standard OCA and you'll see the reduced hard damage is baked into the gun itself, 14 per bullet on an OCA and 13 per on a Whisper.

It's hilarious, some people are screaming that it's useless, others are saying it needs nerfed. I can't wait to see what the general consensus ends up being after a few days.
