X World PVP Beta Server Launch - 28 November

The cross world PVP server has been the most anticipated feature and the moment of truth has arrived!

No longer do you have to get into verbal battle with the PVP champs from the other servers. You can instead prove it by kicking their sorry bums back into the servers where they belong!

The new X World PVP server will allow users from other servers to challenge each other to the ultimate dual and for once and for all decide who the greatest PVP Warrior is.

The X World PVP server will be open for public on shorty. Once the servers are live, the feud can be initiated daily at a preset time.

Individual Matches: 8 PM PST and 8 PM GMT*
Team Matches: 9 PM PST and 9 PM GMT*

Duration - 1 hour each

*Due to the time zone differences, any one time that we set will not be feasible for our users in Europe and US. Because of this, the time will be changed every week.

The first week, the match time will be set to cater the players from US
The time will be changed in the following maintenance to 8 PM GMT for the Europeans

We will be looking at user data and your feedback to make the PVP time favorable to as many warriors are possible.

X World PVP Beta -

The X World PVP works on a match making mechanic where it will pair you randomly with/against opponents of your own size. This means you cannot bully the little guys or feel unchallenged. Each victory will be earned and your skills will be tested!

- Once the PVP session is initiated, you will be teleported to the X server. Only the items you have equipped will be allowed into the battle zone.
- Consumable items used to cast skills and attack will be unlimited
- Active time of Buffs and debuffs will be reduced by 50%
- SP will not be consumed in the server

How to start -

The PVP session can be initiated from where ever you are in the new world by clicking the "Battle Zone" UI and selecting "World PVP"



This will launch the World Cross PVP window (the text overlaps in various places and we are working on it)



When you click the "Join" button, the system will start searching for an opponent and will take you to the battle zone once it finds a match.

World PVP Shop -

The X World PVP comes with its own shop! The PVP Shop NPC is located in the City of Auch near Olaf Junction.

Regular form of currency cannot be used to purchase items from the World PVP Shop. You will need items such as Shiny Crystals and Purchase Points.

Purchase points can be earned through X World PVP





Introduction to a few new items in the World PVP Shop:

The World PVP Shop introduces 4 new items that the explorers are not familiar with. They are the Mercenary and Equipment Packages.

- World PVP Equip Package A - 1 day
- World PVP Equip Package B - 1 day
- World PVP Mercenary + Equip Package A - 1 day
- World PVP Mercenary + Equip Package B - 1 day

Note: Only one package can be activated at any given time

To use the Equipment Package, double click the package which will be in your Premium Inventory after purchasing it. Once the pack is activated, click on the "Premium settings" button on the World PVP UI and tick the "Premium equipment" check boxes




Once this package is equipped, the weapon and armor of the character with the pack activated will be changed to a series that each pack is designed for.

World PVP Equip Package A - 1 day: Weapons

Package A will provide its user weapons with +6, 30 AR and the following stats

- 40% Atk, 25% Atk Spd and 3 sockets with 7% Atk up




World PVP Equip Package A - 1 day: Armors

Package A will provide its user Armors with +6, 27 DR and the following stats

- 10 Def, 5% Max HP, 10% Movement Spd, 7% Movement Spd and 2 sockets with 7% Max HP




World PVP Equip Package B - 1 day: Weapons


Package B will provide its user weapons with +6, 30 AR and the following stats

- 40% Atk, 25% Atk Spd and 3 sockets with 7% Atk up





World PVP Equip Package B - 1 day: Armors

Package A will provide its user Armors with +6, 30 DR and the following stats

- 10 Def, 5% Max HP, 10% Movement Spd, 7% Movement Spd and 2 sockets with 7% Max HP

World PVP Mercenary + Equip Packages

The Mercenary and Equipment packages provides Super Mercenary Characters to those who think their existing characters are not good enough to take a hit from your opponent.

When the card is activated, open the World PVP UI and click on Premium settings. In the "Use Mercenary" window that pops up, click on Mercenary and select from a variety of characters available for hire to do your dirty deeds.

If you would like a team with 3 Asoka or 3 Sorceress Emilia, this package will be your soul mate







All Mercenary Characters will be at Master Level 10 with the skills maxed to the teeth and armed with weapons and armors according to the Equipment Package (A or


Additionally, the mercenaries will be equipped with Rose Wing, Veteran Gloves and Veteran Shoes.

Knowing the system -

Apart from the obvious, the PVP system has a few features and mechanic that are new and works completely different from your regular PVP.

World Cross PVP UI:

A user can earn upto 1000 points a day
Purchasing Score are the points you will have to earn to purchase items from the PVP store
EXP Score can be redeemed for bonus EXP by clicking on the "Get EXP" button on the UI


Users can either Dual in 1 vs 1 mode or in team mode (3 vs 3, 4 vs 4 or 5 vs 5)
In team mode, you can invite a group of friends from your friends list or the clan list
If any one member you are trying to invite rejects your invitation, you will have to start all over again
If you do not want to invite anyone, the system will put together a group for you
Users cannot choose their opponents
System will pit you against a worthy opponent from one of the servers
You will be in "waiting" mode once you click the Join button. The system will search for users who are also in waiting mode and pair you with a matching opponent.

Entering the Arena:

You will not be able to chat with your opponent
Chat messages will be visible only to your team members
Your inventory and premium inventory will be empty
You will have to win 3 matches to win the PVP session
Wins will go to the team who either wipes out their opponent or will have the highest points by the time the timer runs out
Exiting the battle in between will have your points deducted

Things to remember -

Cross World PVP Server is still in its Beta stage. Bugs are trolling the servers and IMC is trying to fix them.

The PVP sessions can only be initiated within the given time frame. This is to prevent a DB error. Due to this and the fact that we cater to users around the globe residing in multiple time zones, users close to GMT and PST will not be able to enjoy the PVP server at the same time.

We are discussing multiple solutions for this including pulling both the continents physically closer to each other. While that is being worked out, we will be changing the PVP session time EVERY week to cater to both GMT and PST.

This means that if users close to PST time zone can use the X World server at a favorable time in week 1, the Europeans will not be able to play unless they stay awake till the rooster wakes up and vice versa.

IMC is aware of this dilemma and are trying to fix the DB issue (which is Global by the way) that would allow the PVP server to be activated throughout the day.

The overlapping text is also being looked into.

Important Note: Though the X World will allow users to create families on all servers and dual from each of those families, the ranks will be reset each time you change servers.

For example, if your main account is in Bristia and you reach the rank of Knight, that rank will be reset to the lower rank if you enter PVP from Orpesia. Server hopping is not advised

With that said, it is time for the battle to begin!!

We will go into an early maintenance this week (7 PM PST on 11/22 - 3 AM GMT on 11/23). However, X World PVP server will NOT be released during this maintenance.

We will be connecting the PVP hardware to the live game servers during this maintenance and it will only be available INTERNALLY for a live environment testing.

Once the results are satisfactory, the server will be open for public.

But honestly, there's much skill needed to use different characters in different ways. For me that's a big hole in there, maybe can be fixed after beta:PP
I mean this game is also awesome for its variety in different stances and weapons right? Cutting some off, in pvp is kinda...anyway! Maybe there will be some solutions. Xworld gonna be awesome either way

Well, it balances characters out in my opinion.

Seeing as how Emilia outclasses almost all other ET users in every way, this makes it kind of even. You can still unequip your Rosario for access to wizard buffs and such, you just won't be able to ET AND Darkness. Kind of broken to play two important roles in one like that.

Actually in xworld its valeria that outclasses everyone cuz she can use ET and Inno without unequipping anything.
But still you can't say that emilia outclasses scout man. Emilia is a wiz, scout is a... CON scout, no one does scout better than scout XD. Emilia doesn't outclass soho or stf either, some ppl will prefer soho.
Point being, no matter how any char is made in game for any reason, there shouldn't be exceptions in pvp imo.

Short saying.. "so what? its pure game mechanic, why take it out?". And ofc it's not same as CS items, neither a stances need years to build up like fam lvl or magic gears. So why take em out?
