Crosshair legal?

Something about changing info in the .ini
But my question is. Is that legal? I hear from people its totally legal. But i hate cheaters and dont want to be branded like one because of a ini configuration.
Any devs want to clear this up? Is it ''ok'' to change the ini to change my crosshair? Or should i continue using the basic one.
Cheers!

In any case, it would make you believe you are hitting your target when in truth your crosshair is taking half of the screen...? o_0

Ive tested it with mates on different weapons and watched guys using it and tbh it fargs more with your aim then it helps. Best bet is dont bother doing it.....
But it isnt illegal/bannable. Considering half the people that play have to tinker with the .ini files just to run APB smoothly lol

It doesn't give an advantage. I think he honestly missed a few times with the HVR because of the change.

Almost everyone used something similar in Counterstrike because its super useful.
"but what your seeing isnt whats actually going on due to recoil/bloom"
Thats the point...
the recoil/bloom interfers with your aim because of its constant change, your always trying to line it up with center mass but when it blooms out and changes it becomes harder to maintain and exact center.
When you make it tiny and static you can keep it dead center far easier.
Beyond that it takes self control and knowledge of your weapon to know whats actually going on bloom wise.

ahh, good old "gl_spriteblend 0" and the SG552/AUG secondary crosshair is suddenly so big and noticeable...
and about gameplay effect - lol, if a person slap a piece of a chewing gum at his Lcd directly at the spot where his crosshair is, and then go to "no HUD mode" (F12) - he should be banned for getting some sort of advantage? btw, this method was widely used by COD4-CODBO players, who are interested mostly in HC modes of the game.
btw, where's Ashley? i've learned from previous threads, that she is the one of the moderators, that always lock threads 'cause every little INI-file edit seems to her like a beginning of WWIII, a new conspiracy, and a threat to every living being.
@OP
everything you can change through the game options - is 100% legit and legal. all the rest (tossing around texture files, changing values in INI-files, everything, that is made outside the game) - is questionable, and may lead to your account suspension (if mods will be so bored, and have no other things to do).

how about a 100$ permanent laser sight for all weapons (from starter 6 shooter up to OSMAW - Crysis style)? or a mount-able Vulcan minigun, that can be used instead of any of vehicle mods slots? Charge Mikro with mounted minigun - being VIP never was that much fun.

That.
It's in the EULA. If they really ban for it or not is another question.

Its not like it takes some super hacker to edit them, you open notepad and most of them are pretty self explanatory.
