With open beta right around the corner, and to help manage the increased forum traffic, we think it is high time to draft another forumite into the official ranks as a moderator. We are essentially looking for someone who has a knowledge of, and interest in Parabellum. Just as important, is that this person is hardworking and can spend a substantial amount of their time on the forums every day. To apply, make sure you meet the listed requirements, and then PM me (Napalm) the information listed below.

Please PM me your application by Monday, November 30, 2009.

All applicants should:
  • Plan to spend at least 3 hours a day on the forums.
  • Already have at least 15 posts on the Parabellum forums.
  • Speak fluent English. Fluent German is a plus.
  • Have a clean history on the forums and across all GamersFirst games. No hackers, cheaters or exploiters.

Please provide the following in a PM to me (Napalm):
  1. Your in-game nickname.
  2. Your real-life name (first and last).
  3. When you started playing Parabellum
  4. The hours of your most likely times of availability, please specify in either PST or GMT timezones, whichever is easiest for you.
  5. Tell us where you are located. State/Province and Country will suffice.
  6. Tell us your age, or approximate age.

Hey guys,
We know that your feedback is essential to making Parabellum the best game it can be. We will be posting these Q and A's every couple of weeks to get feedback on specific areas that we are looking to improve. We invite all beta players to respond to this post by replying to this thread.

We look forward to hearing from you!
  1. What is your general opinion of campaign mode? What about it do you enjoy and what do you dislike?
  2. What is your general opinion of the new Comm Center (chat/friend system(
  3. What, in your opinion, is the most critical issue you would like to see fixed?
  4. How do you feel about the balance between SMG’s, pistols, shotguns, assault rifles and sniper rifles. Do any seem especially underpowered or overpowered?
  5. What features or fixes were you most pleased to see in the latest version, and what issues or features were you disappointed to not see fixed or added to the latest version?

You can now download a test version of GamersFirst LIVE! that will help us identify and resolve some of the issues with LIVE! that are affecting users. To take part:

1. Download the test version of LIVE! here: http://media.gamersfirst.com/gamersmedia/l...iveDownload.zip
2. Extract the file file into the folder of your choice, and run LiveD.exe (the test version of LIVE!)
3. Attempt to download different games from scratch, patch etc.
4. Upon crashing you will be prompted to create a crash dump. Click 'Ok'.
5. Find the dump file, named Live.dmp in the folder you extracted the debug files to.
6. Email me the Live.dmp file at k2-napalm@hotmail.com

This will go a long way towards helping us solve the Unhandled Exception error, and similar crashes. Thanks for the help!

We are aware that some users are having issues patching and/or downloading the game via GamersFirst LIVE!. If you are one of these users, please post your issue as a reply to this topic.

Make sure to include the following information in your post:
  • EXACT error message(s) you are receiving
  • Screengrab of the error. Please keep these small.
  • What version of PB you had before attempting the patch ("849", "None" etc.)
  • What you were doing when you received the message
  • What Operating System version you are running, including language (ie Vista 64 Home Premium German version)
  • What anti-virus and Firewall you have installed. Was your AV/Firewall disabled when you tried to patch? If not, was the problem solved when you disabled it?
  • Your graphics card make and model
